Retrospective

I must admit that the course of my career has not been strategically planned.  After living in Iceland and working
with Artist, Karen Cross, I decided to continue my education at the Herron School of art were I completed my
first developed body of work.  During the final year of my undergraduate studies, my career took its first major
turn as I founded 431 Gallery, my first effort as a
curator and arts administrator.  By 1995, I had nearly
completed my graduate studies and decided to
return to my own studio with a new personal intent and focus.  
Shortly thereafter, I took my first leap from the canvas as I explored my
low-tech multi-media.   After my move to
Dallas, I have continued my exploration of low-tech multi-media using Polaroid photos in
Vicarious Emotions
offering  an interactive opportunity for the viewer.  In
Mundane Magic, I have returned to painting with a new
series in which I strive to bring the feel of my multi-media discoveries back to the canvas.  I suppose

News falls somewhere in between as I explore time and my new life in Dallas.
